JU students agitate against examination authorities | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Mar 28: On 2nd consecutive day, the angry students of PIMS alongwith leaders of National Panther Students Union (NPSU) gathered at Jammu university premises and marched towards the office of Controller of Examination, University of Jammu. They were raising slogans against JU authorities. Heavy force was deployed outside examination wing so that student can’t enter the premises. The protest was led by Pushvinder Singh Manhas (vice president Young Panther) and Partap Singh Jamwal (president NPSU). Hearing the slogans of students, Additional Controller of Examination Sanjeev Mahajan came and listened to student and assured on the behalf examination authorities that JU will conduct the examination of all those students suffering from this situation within few days. After that students met Rajeev Gupta (Dir. Development Colleges) and told him to frame a policy for those students. Later the students called upon the VC who met them and assured that he will sort out all the matter in the duration of two days. Finally JU authorities assured that they will act promptly and punish all culprits involved in this case and career of students will not be ruined at any cost. Other NPSU leaders who were present in the protest include Abhay Sharma (vice president NPSU), Nitin Bakshi (gen. secy minority NPSU), Atul Sudan (provincial secy. NPSU), Ajay Jamwal, Amandeep Singh, Mohit Sharma, Gulshan Sharma, Ankur Bali and Ankit Gupta.
