Bhim urges Guv to save Jammu from bloodbath
Panthers unfurl party flags over Mubarak Mandi

Jammu, Mar 28: Hundreds of Panthers Party activists today took over the historic monumental Dogra Palace at Mubarak Mandi from the illegal and unconstitutional NGO planted by the government to grab Dogra Royal Palace and destroyed its identity.
The Panthers Party activists led by Anita Thakur stormed into the Maharaja’s Palace popularly known as Mubarak Mandi and decorated all the three floors with three star-cum-tricolour Panthers Party flags chanting slogans to defend Dogra ancestral property and save it from the hands of killers of Dogra culture and identity.
General Secretary-JKNPP, Syed Rafiq Shah, MLC (President, Young Panthers), Raghubir Singh Billowria, Vice President-Jammu Provincial Committee, Gunwant Singh, General Secretary, Jammu Provincial Committee, Pushvinder Singh and S. K.S. Bedi, Vice Presidents of Young Panthers, Pratap Singh, Provincial President, NPSU, State Secretary, Maqbool Malik, Salim Sheikh, General Secretary, Young Panthers, Manoj Gupta, State Secretary Young Panthers, Thakur Kamal Singh Jamwal, District Vice-President Jammu city, Luv Deep Singh, Nitin Bakshi, Mohd. Youns, Rawat Singh, Charan Singh, Ravinder Jamwal also accompanied her.

At one point truckloads of armed police surrounded the erstwhile Royal Palace where J&K High Court remained functioning for three decades before it was shifted to a new complex. The police tried to use suppressive means and methods to turn away the Panthers Party volunteers. The Panthers Party leadership questioned the State authority to register a case for a trespass as the State has by an order of the government transferred the entire Royal Palace to a political NGO in order to sell out the Dogra Palace to a billionaire, J.P. Gaur in an under the table agreement. Mubarak Mandi, Royal Palace which is main seat of Dogra rulers.

Meanwhile, Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman, NPP has urged Governor N.N. Vohra for his urgent intervention to save Jammu from bloodbath if its identity is assaulted by the power. The Panthers Chief demanded dissolution of the Committee comprising some local goons to grab the property which was constituted by the Chief Minister in 2007 and return of the historical monument identified with Dogra identity backed to the people without any delay. The Panthers Party in a strong resolution which was moved by Harsh Dev Singh, leader of the Panthers Legislature Party had demanded that an international Dogra Cultural Center should be set up at Mubarak Mandi.
Prof. Bhim Singh congratulated the Panthers Party leaders particularly the Young Panthers and NPSU for their timely and courageous step to save and protect the treasurer of Dogra Art, Culture and Identity.
