All the auto drivers of Jammu City area holding protest hartal against the high handedness of traffic police department here today.
According to source a auto driver who has plying his vehicle smoothing near Amphalla Chowk was assaulted un-necessarily by a Sr. Officer of Traffic department and tore the turpuline of the auto ad beat up the auto driver Krishan Lal.
Auto driver brought the matter to notice of the auto president of association Shanti Saroop, who called on the officer, but he mis-behaved with auto president also.
While talking to ‘Early Times’, on phone, Shanti Saroop said, that the auto association has taken serious view of the incident and has decided to go for hartal.
