| J&K Bank opens branch at Dadsar Tral | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Dadsar, Mar 29: In a simple yet impressive ceremony, J&K Bank inaugurated a fully computerized Business Unit at Dadsar, Tral taking thereby the number of branches in the district to twenty two and the total number of Bank branches to 591.
J&K Bank Vice President and Zonal Head, Kashmir (south) inaugurated the Business Unit in presence of senior bank officials, local elders and officers from district administration including Block Development Officer (BDO) Tral.
The business unit will extend banking facilities to more than Thirty thousand people inhabiting dozens of surrounding villages.
Speaking on the occasion, Zonal Head dwelt in detail upon the initiatives of the bank in taking technology enabled banking services to hinterlands of rural J&K and exhorted upon the people to utilize the facilities available at the branch.
Earlier, Senior Executive Manager (credit) Zonal Office Pulwama, M H Gattoo gave a detailed overview of services and products tailor-made by the bank for various sectors of the economy.
He congratulated the people of area and asked them to take full advantage of the opportunity provided by the business unit.
Chairman Local Auqaf, Haji Abdul Khaliq Mir thanked the bank for fulfilling a long drawn demand of the people of area.
