Lecture on “entrepreneurship opportunities in J&K” organized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Mar 29: Set Business School, with its continuous efforts to make the students well informed and up-to-date, organized a guest lecture delivered by Vishal Ray, (Faculty) Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Instiitute today. Vishal Ray highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in today’s world and its potential to support economic growth. He also talked about how developing countries are paying a lot of attention to the development of entrepreneurship as successful small businesses are the primary engines of job creation, income growth, and poverty reduction. He also explained about the various schemes launched by the Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir for encouraging the people to go for new ventures specifically focusing on Sher-e-Kashmir Employment & Welfare Program for Youth, National Minority Development Finance Corporation. These schemes provide various subsidies and incentives to the youth. The guest lecture was attended by all the students of MBA and BBA. Lovekesh Sarda, (coordinator), faculty members including Tanvi Gupta, Nidhi Sharma, Meenu Kalgotra, Payal Sharma, Jatin Kumar were present on the occasion. This initiative by Set Business School will definitely enable the students to build a mindset that will help them in building a successful career.
