| JKWDC organizes awareness camp | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Mar 29: The Jammu and Kashmir Women Development Corporation (JKWDC) organized a day long awareness camp at Jhiri today.
Vijay Mehta a renowned social worker was the chief guest, while a large gathering was arranged by H.C.Katoch representing a voluntary organization who had motivated the rural community for availing micro credit under the scheme of JKWDC.
Veerji Hangloo development officer and Saguna Sharma field supervisor were the resource persons who educated the women participants about the self employment schemes available with the corporation.
They were apprised about the schemes like NMDFC, NBCFDC, EWS and NHFDC.
Besides women, already been selected for professional trainings were motivated to avail educational loan facilities from the corporation on nominal rate of interest. Forms were distributed on spot and SHGS were formed.
