| 5-wkt win for Adarsh Club in Rajiv Cricket | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 29: Adarsh Cricket Club (ACC) defeated Kherian Cricket Club (KCC_ by five wickets to enter into the next round of the ongoing 2nd Rajiv Gandhi Memorial (T20) Cricket Tournament at MA Stadium, here today.
Earlier, batting first, KCC bowled out for 102 runs in 17.5 overs. Rajinder Sudan (34), Suresh Padha (22) and Vijay (17) were the main scorers. From Adarsh Club, Sunny and Sourav claimed three wickets each while Roshi picked two.
Later, Adarsh Club chased the target in 17 overs losing five wickets in the process. Sanjeev and Dilawar were main contributors with 24 and 23 runs respectively while Deepak (15) and Ammu (16) also played valuable innings. Vishal took two wickets for Kherian while Sanjay and Sushant took one wicket each.
For his superb bowling, Sourav was adjudged man of the match. Today’s match was officiated by Madan Lal, Pappu Dogra and Yogesh Sharma.
