EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, Mar 29: The Indian Reserve Police (IRP) 2nd battalion of the Jammu and Kashmir organised two-day Martial Art Games for women in three sports disciplines of Thang-Ta, Wushu and Judo at Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex, here today. Earlier, the competitions were inaugurated by Commandant IRP 2nd Bn, Mohammad Yousuf Mir. He stressed the female players to show utmost interest in self defence activities. He assured full co-operation for the development of sports culture among women in the state. Among others present were Rana Sajad and Nuzhat Ara, Manager, Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar. Meanwhile, the prize distribution shall take place tomorrow at 1 pm wherein IGP IRP, Z H Chesti has consented to be the chief guest.
