| AIDS awareness camp concludes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
BILLAWAR, MAR 29- To generate awareness on combating the dreaded disease of AIDS, an awareness camp was jointly organized by the 121 Bn of Central Reserve Police Force, Kathua and Speak India Environmental Foundation (SIEF) at Billawar.
Tehsildar Billawar, Jeevan Lal was the Chief Guest and Prof Swaroop Guest of Honour. On the occasion, the speakers dwelt on preventive and curative measures for eradicating AIDS that has posed a big challenge to the mankind.
Astt.commandant 121 BT. CRPF Kathua, Srivastava welcomed the participants and the dignitries while the Chairman of the organisation Sunil Sharma Monu give a brief detail of the programme. He asuured that this campaign will be carrried out in the entire Kathua district
The Tehsildar appreciated the initative taken by the CRPF, who flagged off a rally in which students of different institutes participated. The Director SIEF, Dr Nishant Rattanpal and Prof Swaroop, Principal New Age College, activists of SIEF, jawans of 121 Bn CRPF and prominent citizens of the area also participated in the rally. They stressed upon the crucial importance of awareness about AIDS in the society
