Dr. Karan Singh pays obeisance at trust temples | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 29: On the last leg of his three days visit to Jammu, Chairman Trustee, Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust Council, Dr. Karan Singh, paid obeisance at the three main temples of the Trust and at historical Bahu Fort Kaali Mata Temple. During his visits to Shri Raghunath Ji, Smadhi Raja Suchet Singh Ji and Shri Shivnabh Ji Temples, he took stock of the various development works presently being completed there by the Trust and imparted necessary instructions of furtherance of facilities for devotees visiting there. President of the Trust, Thakur Divakar Singh accompanied him. At Shri Raghunath Ji Mandir, Chairman Trustee performed special Pooja of Bhagwan Ramji, Sitaji and Lakshmanji and also at Natraj Shivji temple. He completed parikrama and enquired about the welfare being of Pujaris and other employees of the Trust posted there. He took stock of various ongoing development works in the temple complex. Chairman Trustee, discussed prospective plan of coming up of the most prestigious “Yasho – Karan Park” on vacant land behind Shri Ranbireshwar Ji temple. This Park will be an added beauty to the temple, besides, a source of recreation and relaxation for tourist, devotees, who visit this temple, said Dr. Karan Singh. He further said that a modern fountain has been got prepared from Jaipur (Rajasthan) for installation in middle of the Park. At Shri Shivnabhji temple, Dr. Karan Singh paid obeisance to Bhagwan Shiv and to Kul deity of the Royal Family. He also assessed pace on development works currently undergoing there. During his visit to temples, he interacted with various tourists and devotees and enquired about facilities being provided to them by the management of the Trust.
