| Militants’ kidnap civilian at gunpoint, slaughtered body recovered | | |
JAMMU NOV-14-
MILITANTS killed a civilian after kidnapping him from his residence at a gunpoint in Chatroo area of Doda district while Security Forces recovered a cache from general area in Poonch district today.
A Police report said that some armed militants forcibly entered into the house of one Bashir Ahmed son of Noor Din resident of Major Chatroo in Doda district and kidnapped him on a gun point. During search, his slaughtered body was recovered from Dund forest near Kachal area.
The Police after hearing about the incident rushed to the spot and launched search operation to apprehend the militants involved in this heinous crime.
On a tip off about presence of militants in general area of Hari Buda Narian, the Security Forces launched a search operation and recovered a hide out being used by the militants. No militant was, however, present at the time of search.
During search, the Forces recovered two Chinese Pistols along with two magazines, 120 rounds of AK ammunition, three AK magazines, 40 mm 14 UBGL ammunition, 12 hand grenades, six RPG, one ammunition pouch and two carrying bags.
