PHE employees to launch agitation from April 15 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 29: PHE Employees Union Front has warned that if their demands are not met by April 15, they would be forced to start agitation. Aggrieved employees raised slogans against the PHE administration which has failed to implement the demands of the employees, agreed by the Minister of PHE department. While addressing the gathering, the senior leaders of the front Bakshi Singh along with other senior leaders have said that the demands recently agreed by the Minister has been put into the cold storage and are being delayed deliberately to harass the employees. They further added that the orders and the circulars regarding wages enhancement at the rate of Rs. 125. Per day and releasing of one and half day’s ex-gratia pay are yet to be implemented. They said that PHE Employees United Front had suspended the agitation till March 13 after the assurance of higher PHE authority. PHE workers are demanding daily wages of Rs 110 per day be given to all sorts of PHE employees and status of daily rated workers be granted to them. They warned to the Minister as well as state government for their demand not full fill within a weak the PHE employees cut the supply of water in 14 districts and the responsible of state government. After a weak we will go to huge protest in the front of Divisional Commissioner and also block the roads.Prominent among those who were spoke in the meeting included Surinder Kumar, Madan Lal, Rajinder Kumar and Munish Lal besides others.
