Players complain Secretary Council | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, March 30: Players of J&K State Kayaking and Canoeing team have lodged a complaint with the Secretary State Sports Council alleging mal-treatment in the hands of officers concerned. The letter signed by five persons, including manager and coach, alleged that they have not been given the specially designed T-Shirts meant for the state contingent for 34th National Games held at Jharkhand. “Although the 15-member water sports team won three medals for the state, still five of them, including myself, have been denied the T-shirts by the officer concerned,” captain of the team, Zahoor Ahmad told SAN. He further said, “After approaching the concerned officer time and again, we have finally lodged a written complain with the Secretary Sports Council to get our grievance redressed.” Signatories in the letter were Showket Ahmed (manager), Farooq Ahmad (coach), Zahoor Ahmad (captain), Javed Hussain and Imteyaz Ahmad.
