| Dulhasti power station provides educational infrastructure to schools | | | EARLY TIMES
Jammu, Mar 30: Under its Corporate Social Responsibility, Dulhasti Power Station provided educational material in the shape of desks, jute matting, complete school uniform, school bags, durets, sweaters and shoes which were distributed to various schools around Kishtwar.
The educational material was distributed by Rajeev Hustu,general manager Dulhasti Power Station Kishtwar in presence of Ajay Mathur,chief engineer, Om Praksh sr.manager(HR),Samin Saha,sr.manager(Finance), G.Q.Butt,zonal education officer, Kishtwar Zone and teaching staff of the school.
Zonal Education Officer Kishtwar G.Q.Butt praised NHPC for providing the material to the schools. He stated the gesture would go a long way in the overall development of the needy student community.
In his address general manager Rajeev Hustu gave detailed account of welfare measures initiated under the Education Head of CSR-CD programme during current financial year around Kishtwar area and highlighted the role of NHPC for providing need based support to educational institutions from time to time.
He asserted that teachers are pillars of the society and they should lay more stress on preparing the students to learn the modern educational trends to make them compete in all fields.
