BMS to celebrate Nirvan Divas of Kabir Ji on April 03 | Dy CM to preside over function | | EARLY TIMES Jammu, Mar 30: March 29: Bhagat Mahasabha will celebrate Nirvan Divas of Sadguru Kabir Ji Maharaj on April 03 at Domana wherein Dy Chief Minister Tara Chand will be the chief guest on the occasion.It was disclosed today by Bhagat Mahasabha after a meeting which was chaired by Bodh Raj Bhagat, president Bhagat Mahasabha J&K unit wherein it was unanimously decided to celebrate Nirvan Divas of Sadguru Kabir Sahib ji. While chairing the meeting Bodh Raj Bhagat urged upon the government to announce gazetted holiday on the Parkash Utsav of Sadguru Kabir Sahib ji i,e 15th of June. He said that it is unfortunate that the government has declared several holidays on the anniversaries of various political personalities but has ignored Sadguru Kabir Sahib Ji the great saint of secularism. Thousands of people from all walks of life from Raipur-Domana block are expected to participate in the function. Swami Milkhi Ram Bhagat ji of Gorda will deliver Satsang & kirtan on the teachings of Sadguru Kabir Sahib ji. Cultural programme will also be organized on the occasion & some prominent personalities from Bhagat community will be honoured. A langar will be served to sangat after satsang. National president of Bhagat Mahasabha, Prof. Raj Kumar Bhagat alongwith national executive body & Milkhi Ram Bhagat Chairman BMS & MSS will also participate in the programme. District committee of Samba was also announced in the meeting to further strengthen the sabha in J&K wherein Capt. Faqir Chand Bhagat was nominated as president, Subedar Mangat Ram as Sr vice president, Bachan Lal & Pritam Chand as vice presidents, Kuldeep Bhagat Retd Principal as general secretary, Subedar Major Karnail Chand organizing secretary, Retd Inspector Chaman Lal as Joint secretary, Ashok Bhagat as Cashier. Prominent among others who participated in the meeting include Mahinder Bhagat, Samsher Bhagat, Hakikat Bhagat, Balvinder Bhagat, Charan Dass, Darshan Bhagat, Ram Dayal, Swarn Lal, Tarsem Bhagat, Bharat Bhushan, Uttam Chand, and others.
