NPSU raises voice against migrants’ injustice | | | EARLY TIMES Jammu, Mar 30: Over a decade of injustice with the displaced people of Jammu province including Doda, Talwara and even Kashmir migrants,National Panther Students Union (NPSU) raised a loud voice against this issue and held a press conference today. The press conference was chaired by Partap Singh Jamwal president NPSU. Jamwal said these displaced people lack basic amenities of life. Neither these people are heard by state govt. nor by central govt. He said that Supreme court gave a decision in favour of these people and according to SRO_43 every family will be provided a some of RS. 1 lakh and a job. But the state govt. which has separatist thinking had presented a writ in a court against this order. One of the prominent cabinet minister of present govt. namely Raman Bhalla gave a statement in assembly that only one thousand family are migrants, but NPSU suggested Bhalla to came out of his constituency and face the ground reality that there are 8 lakhs militants effected families and 12 thousand migrants families. NPSU condemned the shameful role of the state legislatures in on going assembly session for stressing for increasing their salaries and perks besides stressing on genuine and long pending demands of re-settlement by different displaced people. NPSU cleared its stand that if govt. does not met the genuine demands of displaced people NPSU will be on roads in support of these people. Jamwal also condemn brutal lathi charge and custodial torture to the agitating physiotherapist and questioned the govt and all those NGO’sdealing with violation of human rights that where are human rights of these people who are agitating for the genuine demands as well as their constitutional rights.
