| Jeerath's statement reflects his inefficiency: Niaz | | |
JAMMU, Mar 30:
Congress MLA and former power minister Mohammad Sharief Niaz said health commissioner R K Jeerath's statement, that he could not identify Lal Chand, reflected his inefficiency.
"Chand is MLA for the past over two years now and it is astonishing to find that he does not know, or recognise him," Niaz said after Speaker Mohammad Akbar Lone read out privilege committee's report.He said if Jeerath could be so discourteous with an MLA, one could well imagine what his behaviour would be with a common man.
Abdul Haq Khan said written directions needed to be issued to officers in this regard.
