Bharati Vidyapeeth launches India’s first ever School of Photography | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 31: Bharati Vidyapeeth, India’s largest educational institution with more than 60 institutes for higher education has launched a state-of-art School of Photography (BVSP). Admissions to the Bharati Vidyapeeth School of Photography are open and the course will begin in June. The BVSP campus in Pune will impart quality education using latest technology and equipment to develop soft skills, techniques and understanding of the art of photography. The institute is offering a 1 year diploma course, in which students will learn fundamental techniques, move to advanced photography and finally get into an area of specialisation of their choice. The specialisation subjects include fashion, food, portrait, industrial, sports, to name a few. The School is also offering 6 month certification courses in photo journalism, Wildlife &Travel, Wedding, Events along with lighting and techniques. Vishwajeet Kadam, Secretary, Bharati Vidyapeeth says, “BVSP will be a perfect platform for photography enthusiasts to learn every aspect of photography and become professionals. The courses are meticulously designed to ensure that students not only learn how to technically shoot good pictures, but also enhance their creative skills in order to develop their own individual style.” Rajan Chaughule, Director said, “The BVSP will assist students to acquire right temperament to become outstanding photographers. Our curriculum will not only strengthen their basics, but also enhance their creativity. This would help students to shoot images in their own distinct style.”
