Speaker to announce action taken on rationalization of PHCs

JAMMU, Mar 31: In response to a point raised by Javed Mustafa Mir during Zero Hour, Speaker, Mohammad Akbar Lone said that he will inform the house tomorrow about the action taken with regard to constitution of house committee for rationalization of PHC's and other health insurance in the state.
Replying to an issue of Basharat Bukhari, Finance Minister A. R Rather said that Deputy Commissioner concerned was asked to conduct the survey of erosion of land in some villages of Bandipora district and to prepare a project report for further action by the Government.
Radhey Sham demanded on spot police recruitment in border areas of Sunderbani and Nowshera of Rajouri district. M. Y. Tarigami advocated for release of dearness allowances in favour of employees of Public Sector Undertakings on the pattern of Government employees. Indu Pawar demanded for better medicare facilities to the people of hilly and remote areas.
Balwant Singh Mankotia demanded regularization of PDD daily wagers. Dr Shafi Ahmad called for posting of Superintendents in main Hospitals of Srinagar. Ashwani Kumar Sharma called for resolution of genuine demands of physiotherapists. Jagdish Raj Sapolia and Charanjit Singh demanded establishment of Kendriya Vidhyaliya in Kathua.
Jugal Kishore demanded relief for migrants of Jammu at par with Kashmiri migrants. Moulvi Iftikar Hussain Ansari demanded for establishment of more Trauma Hospitals on National Highway. Peerzada Mansoor demanded release of funds in Shangus Treasury for Scheduled Tribe people.
Harshdev Singh demanded Degree College for Majalta while Krishan Chander demanded Degree College for Chenani. Ashok Sharma demanded helicopter service for snow bound areas of Ramban during winter months. Rafi Ahmad Mir advocated enhancement of honorarium to Safaikarmcharies in health sector.
Chaman Lal Gupta demanded regularization of new colonies and covering of all nallahs to maintain hygienic atmosphere. Dr Mustafa Kamal demanded draining out of stagnated rain water from Hazratbal and Hamhama colony. Er Abdul Rashid demanded more funds in irrigation sector.
