| 2 private member bills introduced in LC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 31: Two Private Members Bills (PMB) were introduced in the Legislative Council today, of which, one was accepted and other rejected by voice vote.
Bill seeking to amend the Jammu and Kashmir Societies Registrations Act, Svt 1998 and the Jammu and Kashmir Grant of Permanent Resident Certificate (Procedure) Act 1963 (L.C Private Members Bill No 7 of 2011), moved by Naresh Kumar Gupta was adopted by voice vote. Another Bill pertaining to amendment of the Jammu and Kashmir Panchayati Raj Act, 1989 (LC Private Members Bill No 2 of 2011), moved by Murtaza Khan was rejected.
