Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA), on the occasion of Children’s Day, organized a two-day Philatelic Seminar cum Festival at Sangha Auditorium, Akhnoor to create awareness to promote Philately amongst the young children and troops. The exhibition was organized under the aegis of AWWA by 10 Inf Div Postal Unit.
The two-day event exhibited a rare collection of vintage stamps collected over the years in the history of stamp designing. To mark the event competitions like Stamp Collection, stamp designing and philately quiz were conducted for the children of all schools in the region.
