Inter Zone Sports Meet’s arrangements discussed

JAMMU, Mar 31: Jammu and Kashmir Police is organizing Inter Zone Sports Tournament-2011 from April 5th to 9th at Jammu.
All the wings of Police Organization from across the State will participate in the tournament.
A meeting was convened by Additional Director General of Police, (Armed)/Law & Order, K. Rajendra Kumar to discuss the preparatory arrangements for the 5-day long tournament. The meeting was informed that the players from various Zones will start to reach here by 2nd April and arrangements with regard to their boarding, lodging and transportation have already been put in place, It was also told that Nodal Officers for participating teams have also been nominated.
Stressing upon the officers to ensure coordination among different committees constituted for smooth conduct of the event, the ADGP said that discipline and sportsmanship must be ensured at all levels to make the tournament a success. He also said that all required facilities should be provided to the players at the venues to avoid inconvenience.
