| Madan convenes Telephone Advisory Committee Meeting | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 31- Member Parliament Madan Lal Sharma today convened Telephone Advisory Committee meeting at Jammu to discuss the issues pertaining to improvements of facilities to the consumers.
Among others General Managers Landline and Mobile wings and other senior officers of the BSNL were present.
While speaking on the occasion, Sharma exhorted upon the BSNL authorities to keep no stone unturned to improve the telephone services in the state so that the users may not face any inconvenience. He also expressed dis-satisfaction over the failure of Mobile signals off and on especially in remote areas.
He directed to operate Generator sets at each tower in the event of power cuts to enable the users to avail the facilities around the clock.
Sharma also directed the BSNL authorities to improve the services of other Cellular agencies in the State.
