UDHAMPUR, Mar 31: In order to popularize alternate dispute resolution through mediation, two days awareness camp for Advocates and Judicial Officers of district Udhampur was held in District Court Complex, Udhampur,
The participants were apprised about the concept of Mediation and its proper implementation, Principal District & Session Judge, Udhampur( Chairman of District Legal Service Authority), A.K. Sharma informed the participants as to how the mediators can help the parities realize and explain their needs, clarify misunderstanding, identify issues, explore creative solutions and negotiate agreements.
He further informed participants that soon full fledged training programme shall be held to train the mediators. The awareness programme was attended by the Judicial Officers of district Udhampur and members of the Bar
