| Govt orders transfer, attachment of Jerath | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Mar 31 : After a recommendation made by the assembly privilege committee in this regard, the government today ordered the transfer of health commissioner RK Jerath and attached him to the General Administration Department (GAD) with immediate effect. The privilege committee Wednesday recommended Jerath's attachment after it found that he had insulted Bani MLA Lal Chand. Following his attachment, housing and urban development principal secretary Suresh Kumar was asked to hold the additional charge of administrative secretary, health and medical education department till further orders. |
