| Court extends 3 day police remand of Beigh, Ors | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 31: Forest Magistrate Jammu Sandeep Kour today extended three day police remand of Salim Beigh then Supt Kot-Bhalwal Jail, Surinder Kumar then PSO of Salim Beigh and Sunny Choudhary alias Sunny Baba who are involved in FIR NO 164/2010 U/Ss 307/120-B/34 RPC r/w section 3/25 Arms Act.
Accused Salim Beigh has been arrested on March 24, 2011, Accused Surinder Kumar arrested on March 25, 2011 and Sunny Choudhary was arrested on March 28, 2011 in FIR No 164/2010.
Senior Prosecuting Officer Sanjay Kohli along with SI Abid Bhukhari Incharge PP Sainik Colony Jammu presented the accused in proper custody and seeks police remand for eight days and also presented CD file.
The Court after hearing Sr. PO Sanjay Kohli, observed that keeping in view the nature of the offence alleged and stage of the investigation, the accused above named are remanded to Police Custody for three days till April 2, 2011. The medical examination report of accused depicts that accused to be fit in health. However, medical report of accused Surinder Kumar reflects that he to be treated Surgeon Specialist for cellu-lites right leg. Court directed IO to get the accused properly treated by a surgeon specialist in the field and in case he cannot be arranged within police hospital, he might be given proper medical treatment in GMC Jammu. IO will further conduct the medical examination of all the accused after every 24 hours. —JNF |
