| State Finance Commission, SHRC reports tabled in LA | | | Early Times
JAMMU, Apr 1: Minister for Finance Abdul Rahim Rather today laid on the table of the House a copy of report of the J&K State Finance Commission, as required under sub-section (3) of section 18 of Jammu and Kashmir State Finance Commission Act 2006.
Mr. Rather also introduced a Bill to provide for constitution of a State Finance Commission to review the financial position of the Panchayats, Municipalities and suggesting measures there for and matters connected therewith or incidental thereto (L.A.Bill No. 16 of 2011).
Also Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ali Mohammad Sagar tabled a copy of the J&K State Human Rights Commission (SHRC), Report for 2009-10 in the House alongwith the action taken report as required under Section 12 (2) of the J&K Protection of Human Rights Act-1997.
