| Forest deptt organises seminar on environment conservation | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, April 1: A seminar on environment conservation sponsored by the Department of Forest was organized in Government High School Khatiri (Bishnah) on "Bio-diversity for Conservation of Environment”.
In the seminar P P Shuma, Principal Chief Conservator Forest Department was the chief guest, Ashok Sharma Principal Govt. H.S.S Bishnah was the guest of honour and ZEO Bishnah was the special invited guest on the occasion.
Speaker expressed their views on the need of plantation in the school and locality at large. The programme was coordinated by Sonia Pandita in charge of the NGO.
She also expressed her views and asked students to plant trees in their homes and respective villages also. A small procession was also taken out as a rally in the streets of the Khairi village.
Kanta Sharma Incharge Headmaster of the school thanked all the guests to grace the occasion in the interest of public and children.
