| Air Force recruitment rally at Udhampur from April 25 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur Apr 1: The Airmen Selection Centre Ambala is conducting a Recruitment Rally at Udhampur from April 25, 2011 to May 01, 2011 at Air Force Station Udhampur for selection of Youths in to the Indian Air Force. The purpose of conducting recruitment rally is to benefit the youth of the respective districts besides ensuring wide publicity of the Indian Air Force.To extend logistic support to the authorities of Airmen Selection Centre through different wings of the administration, the District Development Commissioner Udhampur, Baseer Ahmed Khan today convened a joint meeting of officers of Air Force and district heads of different departments in his office chamber in which Wing Commander, commanding Officer, Airmen Selection Centre, Ambla Cantt, R. Kannan, Squadron Leader, Nagender Kumar participated.Threadbare discussions were held on various arrangements for the smooth conduct of the rally which mainly include ambulance with civil medical officer and medical attendant with life saving kit, standby power supply at examination area, drinking water supply at the venue of the rally, accommodation of officers, barricading out side the Air Force gate, publicity, additional buses for candidates from Railway Station/Bus Stand to Air Force on testing days etc.
The District development Commissioner instructed the officers to put in their sincere and coordinated efforts for ensuring the arrangements pertaining to their respective department well before the start of recruitment rally.
