| Sanatan Dharam Sabha holds meet to discuss Shoba Yatra | | | EARLY TIMES
Udhampur Apr 1: Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Udhampur on Friday held a meeting to discuss the arrangements for forthcoming Ramnavmi Shoba Yatra. According to handout issued the meeting was held under the chairmanship of its president Jogeshwar Gupta.
Addressing the meeting, Jogeshwar Gupta congratulated the people of Udhampur for making the historic Shobha-yatra taken out on the eve of Maha Shivratri a grand success. He further informed that the Sanatan Dharam Sabha is organising another grand shobha-yatra on the eve of Shri Ram Navmi falling on 12th April. He added that this shobha-yatra will start from the Sanatan Dharam Sabha Office situated at Chowk Chabutra at 4 pm & will pass through various bazars of the city including Lal Chowk, Gole Market, Mukherjee Bazar, Ramnagar Chowk, Slathia Chowk, Dhar Road, Venus Chowk, Sailan Talab and then will finally culminate at the office ofSanatan Dharam Sabha.He said that a large number of social, religious & other such organizations are expected to participate in the shobha-yatra in the form of different jhankis. He appealed to all the sections of Udhampur to participate in the said programme & help in making it a grand success.
