JAMMU, Apr 1: A 5- Day training programme on Mass Communication and Role of Media organized by IMPA concluded here at Jammu today.
Director General IMPA Abdul Hamid was the chief guest on the occasion of the valedictory function. Programme was organized to acquaint the Information officials with the latest know how of the mass communication and role of media in the present day society. In 5 days long programme, distinguished media and Information personalities imparted training to the officials for covering events of importance for coverage through print media.
Guest faculties include K. B. Jandial, Member PSC, Shabir Mujahid, Director AIR, Indu Aima, Course Incharge, Dr. Rachna Dutt, Course Coordinator, Kavita Suri, Sohail Kazmi, Arun Joshi, Pradeep Dutta, Nitish Arora, Ravi Magotra, R. S. Gill and Prakriti Gupta. Officials who achieved training include Kehar Singh, Hari Chand, Parshotam Dass, Nagar Mal, Darshan Saini, Des Raj Saini and Ravi Shanker Sharma.
