BJP takes exception to double standards of govt towards press | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 1: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) today said that party will expose double standards of government in following policy of appeasement towards anti-India and separatist friendly sections of Kashmir press. Chief Spokesperson and National Executive Member BJP Dr. Jitendra Singh referred to complaints about discrimination in issuing of government advertisements to newspapers and media politician nexus influencing certain electronic TV channels. He also alleged that the state as well as the UPA government at the centre is following a dangerous course in allowing separatist intellectualism and separatist media propaganda to flourish in the name of right to free speech while showing undue enthusiasm to intimidate upright and patriotic sections of media. Dr. Jitendra Singh said this is also a reflection of intellectual bankruptcy coupled with arrogance of power which has become a norm with the ruling coalition.
