Manhas tours Rajouri

Jammu, Apr 2: BJP State President Shamsher Singh Mnahas alongwith State General Secretary Sat Sharma (C.A) undertook 2-day tour of District Rajouri and held a series of party meetings and public rallies at different places including Sunderbani, Nowshera, Darhal and Rajouri city.
While addressing the party leaders and activists in these meetings said that the ongoing Panchayat elections process will not be able to fulfill their desired purpose without implementation of 73rd amendment of the constitution. However, Manhas said the BJP is not opposed to elections in any form and therefore we will educate people about the importance of voting for the right kind of candidate in a non-party basis panchayat election. He also informed the party workers about the public movement to be undertaken by the party from April 06 to June 23, to expose the Congress-led UPA government’s inability, corruption, price-rise and black money in foreign banks . The local issues like delimitation of constituencies and regional discrimination will also be part of the campaign.
State General Secretary Sat Sharma ,said that the BJP has undertaken a campaign at the National level with a motive to expose the Congress for promoting corruption and scams. The state unit too has been working to compile details in this regard and appealed the people to help BJP if they have any authentic information of corruption related cases. He said that ours is a party which always think for the survival of a common Indian citizen rather than encouraging corrupt elements, black-marketerers and anti-national forces. He asked the people to strengthen the hands of BJP.
Vibodh Gupta, Kuldeep Raj Gupta, Yogesh Sharma, Bharat Bhushan, Dinesh Sharma , Farooq Khan and Arpan Gupta were prominent among those who also addressed the meeting at Rajouri while Capt. Raj Kumar, Ramesh Lal, Dev Raj, Gian Chand, Adarsh Bharti, Sushil Sudan, Ashok Kumar and Prithvi Raj Gupta also addressed the meetings held at Sunderbani and Nowshera.
