| NCP demands Judicial Commission into Mubarak Mandi Heritage conservation scam | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Apr 02: Former Minister NCP chief Thakur Randhir Singh has demanded immediate dissolution of so called Mubarak Mandi heritage society and constituting a judicial commission headed by a sitting high court judge to expose the elements behind the conspiracy to destroy Dogra Heritage, History, Culture, and Architecture. Expressing his grave concern over the clandestine move to handover the centuries old Dogra Royal Heritage Palaces to a person to set up a five star hotel, who had already played with Hydel, power resources of the state by resorting all mean to get the contacts.
He appealed to all the sections of society to come on a single platform to defeat the anti Jammu Heritage to defeat the Cultural Heritage of the State design by some political non identity.
Singh was addressing a meeting of senior NCP leaders and prominent citizens belonging to three regions of the state. He argued upon the government of India to stop further release of funds to Mubarak Mandi Heritage Society till an accountable, responsible and Government agency like Arcological Survey of India (ASI) is handed over completely this project for reservation and conservation.
