HC directs SSP Kathua to produce abductee
Girl kidnapped on Pistol point

Jammu, April-02 :- In a habeas corpus petition filed by one Parasram of Village Bhatwal Tehsil Billawar District Kathua alleging that his daughter was kidnapped by the private respondents on pistol point on March 3, 2011, Justice JP Singh of Jammu & Kashmir High Court Jammu Wing after hearing Adv HC Jalmeria and perused the documents placed on record and on the basis of the documents placed on record, Court is satisfied that the petitioner’s daughter aged 16 years is in illegal custody of private respondents Kamal Kishore and six others. Despite registration of FIR, the police does not appear to have taken steps to recover her. Upon this Court issued notice to State of J&K through Commissioner/ Secretary Home, IGP Jammu Range, SSP Kathua, SHO P/S Billawar and private respondents and in the meanwhile Court directed SSP Kathua to see the petitioner’s daughter was located and produced in the Court on the next date.
