| Preparations finalised for ‘Annual Lecturers day’ | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, April 3: All J&K plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum has finalized all the preparations for “Annual Lecturers’ day” scheduled for April 9, 2011 all across the state with its main function at General Zorawar Singh ( GZS) Auditorium, University of Jammu.
The Central House of Representatives which met at Jammu under the Chairmanship of H.D Qureshi the State President of the Forum reviewed all the arrangements for the mega event where about 2000 delegates from all the three regions of the State will assemble at Jammu, besides intellectuals form the Northern Indian States
All the District Presidents of Jammu Division were present in the meet along with members of working councils, besides the central leadership of the Forum.
The House expressed its satisfaction that the Cadre is fully aware of the importance of the day and each and every member is very eager and enthusiastic to become the part of proceedings in the main function at winter capital.
H.D Qureshi, the state president of the forum while speaking on the occasion expressed that the day has become a symbol of identity and unity where the community take a pledge of conscious to re- double its efforts to achieve the goal of “Academic Excellence”, review the overall scenario in the field of Education with self Introspection and also highlights the confronting issues for immediate resolve.
Qureshi informed the meet that the strong contingents of delegates are going to participate in the Educational meet from Ladakh and Kashmir regions besides from all other parts of Jammu Province.
