Government committed to develop Srinagar, Jammu as greater cities: Tara Chand | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, April 3: A large number of people comprising of various delegation from different parts of city and towns today converged at the residence of Deputy Chief Minister and brought their problems pertaining to their areas into the notice of Tara Chand. The Deputy Chief Minister advised the concerned officers to redress the grievances of the people without any delay. The Commissioner, SMC, Mushtaq Ahmad, Director Information and Public Relations, Khawaja Farooq Renzushah, VC LAWDA, Irfan Yaseen and other concerned officers were present on the occasion. While interacting with the delegates, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the government is committed to provide every basic amenity to the people and the coalition government has already taken a number of steps in connection with providing adequate water supply, medicare, electricity, road connectivity and above all better quality of education to the people of the state. Earlier, the deputations and individuals came from Zadibal, Dargah, Hazratbal, Soura, Anchar, Zonimar, Pazwal, Saidakadal, Sazgaripora and put forth their problems like installation of additional electricity transformers, drainage system and construction of retaining wall and supply of adequate electricity etc. Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Chief Minister said the Jammu and Kashmir state particularly the valley has great potential of tourism development and the industry can provide a large number of employments to the youth for which peace is imperative.
