| Accused escapes from Hiranagar PS, ASI among 2 suspended | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 3: An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) and a SPO were placed under suspension after an accused fled from the Hiranagar police station lockup Saturday night.
Police sources said Makhan Din of Saparwal Pain, Hiranagar, who was arrested for allegedly manhandling advocate Vijay inside Hiranagar tehsil office on March 25, fled from police custody last night.
ASI Munir Hussain and a SPO were suspended in this connection, the sources added. Sources said a hunt was on to apprehended the escaped accused. |
