| Flag hoisting ceremony held at Chichi Mata Temple | | | Early Times Report
SAMBA, April 4: On the first day of the Navratras, flag hoisting ceremony was held in Chichi Mata temple. The flag was hoisted by Deputy Commissioner Samba Mubarak Singh.
Additional DC samba R.C Sharma , tehsildar Samba Baldev Sharma and Kunj Lal Gupta president Chichi Mata management committee Mukund Lal Gupta were also present on the occasion .
Kanjak Pujan was also held by the management. A heavy rush of devotees was witnessed during the first navratra. Many vendors have installed stalls of different eatables and parsad. Langar was also served among the devotees.
Traffic Police Samba and Samba Police made adequate arrangement on the occasion in order to avoid any untoward incident. Medical Department Samba has set up medical check up booth for the devotees.
