| German delegation calls on Deputy Speaker, discusses Kashmir situation | | |
Jammu, Nov 15
A two-Member German delegation headed by Mr Sebastian Edathy called on Deputy Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Mr. Mohammad Akbar Lone here today. The delegation held wide ranging discussion on various issues concerning the Jammu and Kashmir which include, overall security scenario, situation of human rights and steps for settlement of Kashmir issue.
The Deputy Speaker briefed the delegation about the overall situation of the State and said that the situation has improved considerably over the years and people of Jammu and Kashmir want peace and development in the region. |
