| JD institute organizes ‘Jammu Mantra’ | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, April 4: JD institute of fashion technology organized ‘Jammu mantra’, a competition for selecting Jammu students for participating at wills lifestyle India fashion week 2011 in Delhi.
In first round a photography competition was held in which students were supposed to capture Jammu in its true form.
They had to define the character of the ‘city of temples’ called ‘Jammu’ or ‘Jambu’ in there own perception .The students went all over Jammu, clicking pictures of temples, monuments, lakes, markets and people in general.
The second round of the competition was of creating mood boards on different themes. The students of JD institute of fashion technology created wonderful collages on the themes- still single, parineeta, colours of life, heaven in turmoil, guns and roses etc.
Four students got selected-. Bharti Chowdhary won in the photography competition and Nagma Gupta, Palak Gupta, Ridhima Jain won in the mood boards competition.
