JKHRW state chairman conducted extensive Rajouri tour | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, April 4: B.L.Kapoor state chairman JKHRW conducted an extreme tour to Rajouri and took stock of problems and difficulties being faced by the people due to corruption, fraud in ration supply etc. He also met the people of far flung areas like Bari Darhal and public meeting was also organised by the people there. Kapoor was the Chief Guest who took the stock of problems being faced by the people there and assured them to take up the matter with the government for its redressal. While addressing the meeting, Kapoor said that rampant corruption has been going on in district Rajouri and the people especially belonging to far flung hilly areas have been deceived by the authorities. Non availability of basic amenities like drinking water, electricity, schools, and dispensaries are the main reasons, he said. Kapoor while addressing the gathering also said that the state government headed by Omar Abdullah, the CM, has been doing a lot for the welfare of the people and the measures for eradicating corruption have been adopted. During tour, it had also been revealed that some corrupt police officers are shielded by some politicians. Thus, their posting have not been done yet inspite of various complaints regarding misdeeds. Deputations from Budhal also met Kapoor at Rajouri and apprised about the unlawful activities which are being done by Police for which SSP Rajouri was informed in writing. Kapoor appealed the CM of the state to intervene into the problems of the people and redress the grievances.
