Industries owners violating all laws in Jammu: SOIL | | | Early Times Report KATHUA, Apr 4: DIC, ESI, provident fund and labour department are seemingly supporting violation of labour laws by the industrial management in kathua. The two concerned ministers of Industries and labour department hardly bother to seek detailed account of implementation of labour laws in the state. Sources said that work force in these industrial units at kathua is suffering immensely due to meager wages, no insurance cover and no or fake attendance system. They added that concerned departments like DIC, ESI, Provident fund and labour department are all encouraging anarchy and harassment of the industrial workers to get handsome money illegally from industrial management. The Saviour of Innocent Labour (SOIL) organization has received numerous complaints. According to SOIL, Met Trade India Limited has been harassing more than 80 workers. They have been forcibly expelled and all these innocent workers are still demanding their due right of work while the matter is well placed in the notice of government and local administration. SOIL has urged state government and local administration to constitute a taskforce to check industrial management with the collaboration of concerned department DIC, Provident Fund, ESI and Labour department to provide justice and rights to industrial workers.
