Srinagar, Nov 15 Eight militants and a soldier were killed and four soldiers injured in three separate incidents in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir since last night, a defence spokesman said. Four unidentified militants, believed to be foreigners, were killed today at Warsun village of Kupwara district in a gun battle which began last evening, the spokesman said. Four AK rifles, arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants, he said. In another shootout, three unidentified militants were killed by security forces in Gulgam village this morning, he said. One soldier was killed and four others, including an officer, injured in the gun battle which lasted for several hours, he said. In yet another incident Pakistan Occupied Kashmir-based militant Zubair Bhai, who belonged to the Lashkar-e-Toiba, was killed at Ucher-Magam village in Handwara area last night, he said.
