Khajuria expresses gratitude to his constituency people

Jammu, Apr 5:Gujjar Nagar area of my consituency is an example of true brotherhood and social fabric. Our Muslim, Sikh, Hindu and Christian brothers have displayed unity and respect for each other whenever there has been any problem in other parts of the state.
This was stated by BJP National Executive Member & Jammu East MLA Ashok Khajuria on the occasion of installation of high capacity transformer in Gujjar Nagar alongwith Distt. President Rajesh Gupta. A number of senior officials of PDD, UEED, JMC and PHE were also present on the occasion.
Khajuria, said that he feel honoured to be an elected representative of an area which houses population of all faiths and castes. Hence, this area has a very special place in my heart and I am committed for its development like other areas of Jammu East, he said.
The MLA said that 90 per cent houses in Gujjar Nagar have been metered by the PDD but still the people were not getting regular supply of electricity and he was receiving regular complaints in this regard.
He said that an amount of Rs. 10 lakh has been spent for installation of a high capacity transformer besides a separate feeder for Gujjar Nagar so that the people are not made to suffer any more.
He also went around the interior localities of the area and interacted with the people. He was told about the need of immediate repair and reconstruction of some lanes and drains, for which the MLA assured an early workout.
A number of prominent residents, who also garlanded the visiting MLA, appreciated the efforts being put up by him for the mitigation of the sufferings of people irrespective of their religion, caste and political affiliation.
Former Corporator of JMC from the area Rashida Begam expressed thanks on behalf of the local people for the MLA’s initiatives.

Fazal Karim, Rajnish Jain, Sanjeev Gupta, Aslam Khan, Ashwani Sharma, Ramesh Sharma, Sunil Dogra, Hashim Khan, Kuldeep Kandhari, Dr. Wani, Anil Masoom, Pardeep Sharma, Girdhari Lal, Surinder Anand, Gulshan Mahajan, Rashida Begam, Surinder Singh, Chaman Lal, Master Jia Lal, Vijay Kumar, Bodh Raj, Subash Gupta accompanied Khajuria.
