| State junior chess meet from April 23 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, April 05: All J&K Chess Association, the affiliated unit of the All India Chess Federation in the state, has decided to conduct J&K Junior Chess Championship in all age categories from April 23 at Hotel Nek, Below Gummat, here.
This was disclosed by general secretary of the Association, Baldev Raj to SAN here today.
While the boys’ event shall take place on April 23 at 9 am, followed by the girls’ competitions a day later i.e on April 24 at the same venue. The selected players, as per secretary, shall be representing the state in national championships conducted by All India Chess Federation.
