| Two employees attached for violation of MCC | | | Early Times Report
BASANTGARH, Apr 5: Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Dudu Basantgarh Amit Sharma has attached two government officials in the office of Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur with immediate effect for gross violation of model code of conduct during ongoing Panchayat Elections 2011.
Two employees, namely Joginder Pal, teacher in Government Primary School Padder and Surjit Singh, Pharmacist in ISM Dispensary Sia Meri were found actively involved in campaigning and canvassing for their respective candidates and after conduct of thorough confidential enquiry in the matter and confirmation of the same, immediate attachment orders were issued by SDM Dudu Basantgarh of these two erring government employees.
It was further warned by SDM Amit Sharma that if any government employee is found involved in any kind of violation of Model Code of Conduct in the entire Dudu Basantgarh Sub Division in future during ongoing Panchayat Elections, stern action shall be taken against him/her accordingly as per guidelines of Election rules.
