J&K govt unable to take private schools: AIRGBK | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 5: All India Rahul Gandhi Brigade Kashmir unit youth president Zahid Bashir today said that “revolution” brought by the coalition government in the education sector has not only disturbed its socialistic pattern in the state, but is also giving a tough time to the parents, who every month cough up hefty sum of money for academics of their children. He further stated that with the increasing number of private schools and colleges in the state, particularly in the winter capital, parents in the name of “quality” education have become an easy prey for such institutions largely opened by industrialists and politicians. Moreover, the state government too has turned a blind eye to the fleecing of common people for obvious reasons. Zahid Bashir has urged the state government to fix fee structures in private schools and set up a committee to keep a check on their functioning .He said that with the beginning of admissions for the new session, private schools had started charging a heavy amount from the parents for the admission of their wards.
