JKNPP rue over usage of official machinery in ensuing panchayat election

Jammu, Apr 6: JKNPP has rued over the usage of official machinery in the ensuing election and frequent visits of ministers in the vicinity of Jammu district blaming that though the election is being held on non party basis but the ministers and other ruling political stalwarts are openly canvassing for their candidate who have been authorized by the ruling parties to contest Panchayat elections, which certainly is a violation of election laws.
An emergency meeting of JKNPP Provincial Committee Jammu Province was held on this account to discuss prevailing circumstances regarding Panchayat elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
The said the election commission should take a cognizance of such acts so that the laws enacted should be implemented in letter and spirit.
Various district heads of the party complained that some anti-social organizations and other political parties who are against the forces loyal to the Indian union that why Dogra Certificate is being issued to Jammuites and as per these bad elements why Jammu is being liberated from the clutches of Kashmiri ruling class.
They demanded explanation from the government to explain to public in general about such utterances.
The Provincial Committee passed a resolution supporting their demands that if the government fails to meets the aspirations of Jammuites the party will come to streets and teach rulers a lesson.
Those who attended the meeting and include Raghubir Singh Biloria, provincial vice-president, Maqbool Malik, state secretary, Shanker Singh Chib, district president Jammu rural, Kamal Singh Jamwal, Sunil Sharma, district president Jammu urban, district vice-president Jammu city, S.
