| NC Kathua intensifies Panchayat election campaign | | | EARLY TIMES
Kathua , Apr 6 : The district president National Conference Kathua Dhian Chand along with the president NC south block Dharam Paul and president NC north block Prem Rattan Sharma visited the several villages of block Gagwal and block Hiranagar to intensify the campaign of non party based Panchayat elections.
The district president Dhian Chand in several addresses in various villages such village Rajpura, village Tapyal, village Kootah etc during the campaign said that the people should take part in the non party based Panchayat election because the Panchayats are the basic and fundamental unit of the democracy in our society.
He stressed upon the people to be vigilant and active during the casting of vote because it is the most precious and incredible property of every Indian to form the government of its own choice from grass root level to top level.
So the mandate must be given to right and genuine candidates whose background and entire track record is up to mark and appreciable, it was observed. In the campaign Fiaz Ali, P.D Sharma, and Rtd. DySP Diwan Singh were present.
